Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Quintave collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user. Quintave is a personal finance tracker designed to help you understand your spending habits without judgment.

Quintave collects the following data to provide its core functionality:

Device ID - A randomly generated identifier stored on your device, used to create and authenticate your account silently without requiring a login.
Financial Data - Transactions, income, expenses, goals, habits, and journal entries that you manually enter into the app. This data is stored on our secure server so you can access it across sessions.
Purchase History - Whether you have completed the one-time $8 purchase, verified through RevenueCat to unlock full app access.
Crash Data - Anonymous technical logs collected by iOS to help us identify and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Data

All data collected is used exclusively to operate and improve the app:

To authenticate your account and retrieve your personal financial data
To store your transactions, goals, habits, and journal entries
To verify your purchase and grant access to the full app
To fix crashes and maintain app stability

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond making the app work for you.

3. Third-Party Services

Quintave uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat - Handles in-app purchase verification. RevenueCat receives your Apple ID purchase receipt to confirm your one-time payment. View their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Railway - Our backend server infrastructure where your financial data is securely stored.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Your financial data is never shared with anyone outside of the services listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate the app.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Railway. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and signed authentication tokens to protect your data in transit and at rest.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us at the email address below and we will remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Quintave is not directed at children under the age of 9. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
